【攝影展】羅浮宮到吳哥窟再到維港探索寂靜｜2023 Palani Mohan 展覽推薦

印裔攝影師 Palani Mohan 在澳洲長大，這位獲獎無數的攝影師，在九十年代居於香港，後又搬到杜拜居住，先後三次出入香港，現在也居於香港。搜索他的名字，也許會發現他曾在 2012 年到了蒙古阿爾泰山區（Altai）拍攝哈薩克族人的馴鷹文化，但他拍攝更多的，是以黑白攝影拍攝世界各地風景。2018 年，他曾展出花了四年半拍攝的《風水》系列，他以一個半外來者/又是香港居民的身份，用黑白攝影去呈現華人眼裡的金木水火土。他說，是希望透過創作來了解大自然。

全新個展《Watch with Wonder》中，Palani 透過黑白攝影，從羅浮宮博物館到澳洲的荒野、柬埔寨吳哥窟、阿拉伯半島、巴布亞新幾內亞的部落聚會、克什⽶爾的達爾湖、印度北部拉達克地區，再回到維多利亞港看浮在當中的小輪，從壯麗景色之中，全世界仿如靜止了一樣，展現謐靜的魅力。

Palani 說：「這本攝影集是我對寂靜之地和靜謐空間的探索，我在當中找到安寧和意義。這是我對周遭微⼩事物中所蘊含的魔⼒和奇蹟的尋覓。像這樣的時刻，彷彿呼喚著我們緩下腳步，仔細觀察。」140 ⾴的全新攝影集《Watch with Wonder》也同時推出，收錄107張雙⾊調影像，由香港⼤學出版社出版。
